The American Revolution at 250: A Faculty Panel

The American Revolution at 250: A Faculty Panel In-Person / Online

As the United States prepares to mark the 250th anniversary of the War for Independence, this panel brings together MVCC historians to explore the defining moments of the Revolution and the lasting significance of the founding struggle. From Lexington and Concord to Saratoga and Yorktown, we'll revisit the pivotal battles and decisions that shaped the war. But beyond the battlefield, we’ll dive into the ideas of liberty, democracy, and resistance. How did the war transform global empires, and how does it continue to shape American identity and myth today? Join us for a rich and timely conversation that reexamines the American Revolution as a world-changing event with unfinished legacies.
