SMS Workshop: Laser Cutter Introduction In-Person
Students are invited to The Student Maker Studio (SMS), located in the Library, L235, on Wednesday 9/17 to learn about laser cutting with an Omtech Polar 360 Laser Cutter. Students will learn about laser cutters and the software to make projects for them. Students will design a custom keychain to be cut. (The session on Thursday 9/18 is identical. Students only need to register for one session to get the full experience.)
Using the fundamentals for laser cutting provided in the workshop, students will be prepared to create and customize other creations that can be made in the SMS. We are excited to see what your creativity brings to the Student Maker Studio!
